Principle of "SafetyAnswer"

The sender of the email sends an email to a known "Known address" and receives a reply email from the "Known address". The address of the real mail recipient beyond the "Known address" is kept secret and is not known to the sender of the mail.
Based on this principle, we will explain the operation including whether the sender's e-mail address is anonymized or not.

1. Receive and reply without anonymization.

(1) Predefined registration details.

The receiving side "C" establishes a "Known address" "B" instead of its own address, and registers the forwarding information from the "Known address" in "SafetyAnswer".
Predefined registration details.

(2) Receive e-mails with secret e-mail recipient addresses.

The recipient "C" of the mail tell the "Known address" "B" to the sender instead of his own address, and receives the mail through the "Known address" "B".
In the forwarded mail, the reply address to "SafetyAnswer" (the reply processing address "A'") is added as a "Reply-to" tag in the mail header.
This reply processing dedicated address "A'" generates a unique address associated with "A".
Receive emails with secret email recipient addresses.

(3) Reply e-mail from a secret address.

The mail recipient "C" sends a mail with the mailer's reply operation, and sends the mail with the contents of the "Reply-to" tag as the mail destination.
A reply mail will be sent to the reply processing address "A'" specified in the "Reply-to" tag.
Since the sender of the received mail is "C" and the destination is the reply processing dedicated address "A'", the "SafetyAnswer" that received the reply mail has decide "A" as the destination of the final reply mail.
And new sender is determined to be "B", and mail is sent from the "Known address" "B" in the correct procedure.
Reply mail from a secret address.

(4) Receive email from "Known address".

The mail sender "A" will receive the mail sent by the mail replier "C" as the mail with the "Known address" "B" as the mail sender.
"A" sends an email to "B" and receives a reply from "B", and the presence of "C" is kept secret.

* In this case, "C" must send with the mailer's reply operation.

Because the sender of the mail received by "C" is "A", if the mail is sent with the sender "A" set as the mail destination, it does not go through "SafetyAnswer". This is because the mail reaches "A" directly.
To avoid these situations, you can use the dedicated sending service provided by "SafetyAnswer" to send mail from the "Known address" "B" even in sending operations.

And, In the reply email from "SafetyAnswer", the reply address "C" written in the text of the email body is rewritten to the "Known address" "B". (However, only when the mail text is correctly analyzed)

2. Anonymize and receive / send / reply.

(1) Predefined registration details.

Forwarding information registers in the same way as described in "Receive and reply without anonymization" above, However, enable the "Keep sender secret" setting.
Predefined registration details.

(2) Anonymize email sender address and receive email.

The recipient "C" of the mail tell the "Known address" "B" to the sender instead of his own address, and receives the mail through the "Known address" "B".
In the forwarded mail, "SafetyAnswer" generates a unique anonymized address "X" corresponding to the address "A", and rewrites the sender address "A" to "X", and it will be forwarded to "C".
This anonymized address "X" generates a unique address that is completely different from "A".
Anonymize email sender address and receive email.

(3) Reply (or send) mail from a secret email address to an anonymous address.

The mail recipient "C" sends a mail to the anonymous address "X".
Reply processing department of "SafetyAnswer" receives a reply mail addressed to the anonymous address "X".
Since the sender of the received mail is "C" and the destination is the anonymous address "X", the "SafetyAnswer" that received the reply mail has decide "A" as the destination of the final reply mail.
And new sender is determined to be "B", and mail is sent from the "Known address" "B" in the correct procedure.
Reply (or send) mail from a secret email address to an anonymous address

(4) Receive email from "Known address".

The mail sender "A" will receive the mail sent by the mail replier "C" as the mail with the "Known address" "B" as the mail sender.
"A" sends an email to "B" and receives a reply from "B", and the presence of "C" is kept secret.
In addition, since "A" is not known to "C", the sender "A" and the receiver "C" send and receive mail through the "known address" "B" to unknown each other's address. And we can exchange emails without having to each other's address.

* In this case, "C" can reply mail by either sending or replying.

In the forwarded email from "SafetyAnswer", the sender address "A" described in the text of the email body is rewritten to the anonymous address "X". And in the reply email, the replier address "C" described in the text of the email body is rewritten to the "Known address" "B". (However, only when the mail text is correctly analyzed)
